KATHMANDU: Two persons died and another was critically injured when a motorbike (Ba 30 Pa 4550) they were riding on met with an accident at Ramghat, KMC-15 on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as biker Sailendra Rijal (28) and pillion rider Sonu Risal (29) of Kalanki, KMC-14 and injured as another pillion rider Anish Rijal.

Following the incident, they were rushed to the Bir Hospital but Sailendra and Sonu breathed their last during the course of treatment, police said.

Police said that Anish is receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
