KATHMANDU: Police said that two incidents of theft were reported in the Capital on Wednesday.

Property worth around Rs 214,000 was stolen from a house at Thali in Kageshwori Municipality-7, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves stole Rs 25,000 in cash, a camera and various gold ornaments from the house of Bharat Thapa.

Similarly, cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 116,000 were stolen from the house of Buddhi Prasad Koirala of the same municipality.

Police said that Rs 60,000 in cash and various gold ornaments were stolen from the house of Koirala.

Police said that they are looking into both cases.
