KATHMANDU: Police said that two incidents of property crime were reported in the Kathmandu Valley on Thursday.

Police said that Rs 250,000 in cash was stolen from a rented room at Dhunchepakha in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-7, Bhaktapur.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the room of Balaram Tamang after breaking the bolt of the door and made off with the cash.

Similarly, property worth around Rs 130,000 was stolen from the house of Suraj Kumar Sah at Thecho of Bajrabarahi Municipality-7, Lalitpur.

Police said that two laptops and two iPhones were stolen from the house of Sah.

Police said that they are looking into both cases.
