22 held for gang fight

Kathmandu, August 20:

The Ward Police Office, New Baneshwor, apprehended 22 persons on the charge of getting involved in a gang fight at the New Baneshwor chowk this evening. According to the police, Manoj Khadga and Jeral KC, who were on a motorcycle with registration number Ba 1 Pa 1776, attacked Rabin Lama Maharjan and Sanam Singh, who were on a motorbike with registration number Ba 1 Pa 5802 at the chowk at around 5:15 pm. Lama and Singh are undergoing treatment at the B&B hospital. Their condition is reportedly critical. The police also managed to seize a khukuri and two motorcycles. The identity of the 20 others has not been ascertained, the police said.
