KATHMANDU: Police said that three incidents of property crime were reported in the Kathmandu Valley on Monday.

Gold ornaments worth around Rs 308,000 were stolen from a house at Kamana Marga in Nagarjun Municipality-1.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the house of Rajyawarti Tripathi after breaking the bolt of the main door and made off with the ornaments.

The house was unattended when the incident occurred.

Similarly, cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 222,000 were stolen from the rented room of Bhumika Chaudhary at Bijuli Bazaar in KMC-10.

Likewise, gold ornaments worth around Rs 256,000 were stolen from the house of Dhan Laxmi Karanjeet at Dalachi Jyabahal in KMC-21.
