PM Oli urges UML lawmakers to work on national interests
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has directed UML lawmakers not to go beyond national welfare and interest.
Speaking at the UML parliamentary party meeting in the Parliament building, New Baneshwar today, Chair Oli urged the lawmakers to work on behalf of the nation and party. He further directed the lawmakers to be united in common goals and agenda of the party and the country.
He also argued for ending all kinds of syndicates persisting in almost all sectors in the country. Prime Minister Oli further said that lawmakers should play responsible, constructive and positive roles in the parliament as the budgetary session had begun today. He also sought for suggestions from the lawmakers in writing regarding the budget.
He said that various laws were being drafted, amended and enacted to run the business in changed context.
Prime Minister Oli also reiterated that the government was committed to transforming the society and leading it towards prosperity.
Chair Oli, also the UML PP leader, opined for maintaining balanced and harmonious relations with neighbours and other foreign countries.
