Kathmandu, February 19:

A special function was organised at the Royal Nepal Army Pavilion, Tundikhel, under the auspices by the King Tribhuwan Jayanti and the 56th National Democracy Day Main Function Committee to mark the Tribhuwan Jayanti and the 56 th Democracy Day, today.

On the occasion, Rajparishad Standing Committee Chairman Parashu Narayan Chaudhari garlanded the portrait of the late King Tribhuwan, Father of the Nation.

Security bodies and scouts conducted march past, and cultural pageantry and games were presented by various organisations and schools, whereas military helicopter showered flowers. Present on the occasion were Chief Justice, Speaker, Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Officials of the constitutional bodies among others.
