71 police cases lodged in a week
KATHMANDU: Metropolitan police ranges and circles in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts recorded a total of 71 cases over the past week.
According to Metropolitan
Police Commissioner’s Office (MPCO) at Ranipokhari, Kathmandu tops the list with 52 cases filed between November 9 and 16, while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 14 and 5 cases, respectively.
“Cases lodged under Some Public Offenses Act numbered 29
in three districts,” reported MPCO, which oversees the metropolitan police offices. Accidental deaths reached 13.
