8-party govt incompetent: Rana

Kathmandu, June 19:

Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati SJB Rana today lashed out at the eight party government and said it has become incompetent.

The eight-party government, Rana argued, has been incompetent in all aspects. “One of the glaring examples of this is the third amendments in the interim constitution,” he said at an interaction programme organised here today by the Media Group. “Had the interim constitution been inclusive, they would not have had to go for amendments in installment basis.” Rana accused the eight parties of driving the country towards anarchy.

Saying that the government has not been serious enough to improve the law and order situation and provide security to the people, Rana said, “The country has been taking a radar-less course now in the hands of the eight political parties.”

Dr Narayan Khadka of the Nepali Congress (Democratic) emphasised on political stability to ensure economic stability.
