KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday reportedly arrested an absconding murder suspect.

The arrestee has been identified as Ramesh Gadhauli alias Bhele (23) of Dangsing VDC-7 in Nuwakot district currently, residing at Tokha, KMC-14.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division arrested Gadhauli from Ganeshthan, Gongabu on charge of murdering Yuyan Tamang (18) of Tipling VDC-5 in Dhading district, currently residing at Gongabu-3, KMC, on November 5, 2013.

Gadhauli had reportedly barred Tamang at Jalpa Chok, Baniyatar in Gongabu-3 and struck on his head with a brick before fleeing.

Meanwhile, Gadhauli has been sent to the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu for further investigation and prosecution today itself.
