Leaders of the Nepal Students Union today warned that another autocrat was likely to be at the helm after autocratic monarchy was toppled.

“We need to be aware not to give a chance to another autocrat to be at the helm after toppling autocrat Gyanendra,” said Gajendra Karki, general secretary of NSU, while addressing a mass meeting organised at Ratna Park to welcome the implementation of republic. Karki also said the struggle has not ended yet. He also warned Gyanendra Shah to vacate the Narayanhiti right away or face the people’s wrath.
