ANFA gets new members
KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Monday elected its 31-member executive committee through the 10th Congress unanimously. Earlier there were 36 candidates for the 22 posts before 14 of them pulled out their candidacy stating they wanted to clear the way for a consensus. The new general secretary, treasurer and chief executive officer will be elected through a board meeting of the new committee. The new committee comprises eight members representing different districts, eight former members and five representing the different clubs. The 10th Congress meeting is also expected to come up with an annual calendar before the meeting ends today.
