Art exhibition
KATHMANDU: An exhibition of Nepali art by Chinese artist Chao Zhen Chhyu opened at the Nepal Art Council from Sunday. The exhibition was organised coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Nepal and the People’s Republic of China. Chinese ambassador Wu Chuntai inaugurated the ‘Ink Wash’ art exhibition that celebrates the trans-Himalayan friendship. On the occasion, ambassador Wu said the relations between China and Nepal have been further deepened by the sanatana culture, Buddhism and the Himalayas. Culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi appreciated the artworks of the Chinese artist and his understanding of the Nepali art and culture.
