KATHMANDU, AUGUST 21

Asian Paints Nepal has announced the winners of Kaleidoscope 23-24, the 11th All Nepal Architecture & Interior Design Student Competition. The annual event, which brings together students, professional architects, and clients, challenges participants with a live project. An independent jury from Nepal's architect community evaluated the entries through multiple rounds.

This year's competition featured 39 students from 11 architectural colleges, all tasked with designing a proposed Centre for the National Academy of Music & Drama. The winning design is set to be handed over to the client for further implementation.

Aayusha Koirala from IOE, Pulchowk Campus, claimed the first prize, receiving a cash award of Rs 70,000. Sushan Shrestha from Acme Engineering College and Ashish Oli from Himalayan College of Engineering secured second and third places, winning Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. Consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 each were awarded to Bipin Maharjan from Kathmandu University and Kewal Lama from Himalayan College of Engineering.

The winners were recognized and felicitated at a ceremony held on August 18th at Marriott Hotel by Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey and Nisha Sharma, Chancellor of NAMDA, among other distinguished guests.
