KATHMANDU, MAY 6
Participants of the 21st Forum of the Asian Payment Network (APN) called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday at his official residence in Baluwatar.
Prime Minister Oli met with 14 APN representatives from 13 countries, including Nepal, who were in Kathmandu to attend the forum organized by Fonepay.
During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing cross-border payment systems and strengthening regional cooperation in digital finance.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli commended the contributions of APN and Fonepay toward fostering regional financial integration and coordination amidst rapid advancements in information technology.
He also emphasized the need to prioritize the development and reform of Nepal's digital payment infrastructure.
