KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was severely injured after a car hit him in Balkhu of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Bishal Jaiswal (14) of Kuleshwor was hit by the four-wheeler (Ba 2 Cha 1523) while crossing the road at around 1:30 pm.

Jaiswal is being treated at Balkhu-based Vayodha Hospitals.

Police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the car driver for further investigation.
