Bhaktapur, May 6 :

A gang of unidentified persons last night looted Rs 2.5 lakhs in cash kind aside from gold worth Rs 5 lakhs from the house of Shivkrishna Shrestha at ward 2 of Madhyapur Thimi municipality.

According to Shrestha, the masked gangsters fooled him into opening the door saying that they were members of a “search team.” As soon as they entered, they embarked on a looting spree at gunpoint. Investigation is underway, police inspector Tika Karki said.
