KATHMANDU: An elderly pedestrian got critically injured after being hit by a minitruck at Thimi of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur district on Saturday.

The injured seems to be in her 60s, but police have not yet identified other details about her.

According to police, the incident occurred when a minitruck (Ba 2 Kha 8214) hit her at around 11:30 am today.

The Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi has impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver Arjun Goja (24) of Jhaukhel in Bhaktapur Municipality.
