KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 5
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has appointed Prof. Shiva Lal Bhusal, the Rector of Tribhuvan University (TU), to serve as the Vice-Chancellor until a new decision is made.
The post had been vacant since November 2 when Prof. Dr. Dharma Kanta Baskota's four-year term ended.
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Bhusal was appointed to the position today, following the provisions of the TU Act-2049 BS (1992).
The Prime Minister and the TU Chancellor jointly filled the vacant post.
