Bibeksheel Sajha Party to stage demonstration at Baluwatar against PM's move

KATHMANDU: Bibeksheel Sajha Party is staging demonstration at Baluwatar, at 3 pm today, against the PM's move to dissolve house calling it unconstitutional, undemocratic and autocratic.

In a press release issued on Sunday, Bibeksheel Sajha Party's chair Rabindra Mishra urged people to unite against the 'subversive' act of Oli.

He noted that Nepali Constitution 2072 doesn't provide any special privilege to dissolve the parliament. "Only parliament itself has the right to form an alternative government through parliament and it is in that way the government should proceed, if need be."

The party further said that President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who has repeatedly tarnished the image of the President by being transformed into a trusted ally of Prime Minister Oli's kitchen cabinet, must act against this recommendation and mend the image of her office.
