Bidari elected Kathmandu FNJ president

KATHMANDU: Shantaram Bidari has been elected the president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kathmandu chapter on Monday. Bidari is the editor of the 'Daman Post'.

The chief election officer Govinda Pokharel shared that the Bidari-led team from Press Chautari Nepal won the elections.

Surya Subedi was elected the vice-president under the open category and Seeta Pokharel under the woman category.

Likewise, Mohan Panta was elected the secretary, Ram Sharan Majhi and Ameer Lama the joint secretary, and Ram Chandra Basnet elected the treasurer.

As many as 878 representatives out of 1,375 cast their votes in the election
