KATHMANDU, JULY 10

A meeting of top leaders of three major political parties concluded with an agreement to end the House obstructions.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, PM and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal urged the major opposition CPN (UML) to allow the House to conduct its business.

PM Dahal said that it was not a good practice to obstruct the House over minor issues.

In today's meeting of the HoR, a bill aiming to address the issues of usury is scheduled to be addressed. Likewise, the Prime Minister will also be addressing the lower hose session.

The meeting was attended by top political leaders including PM Dahal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Nepali Congress President and KP Sharma Oli, the UML Chair.

It may be noted that the UML was obstructing the House for some days over the Prime Minister's statement in the recent public programme.
