Bijukchhe against statute amendment in a hurry
BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe has said that the Constitution should not be amended hurriedly upon pressure from anywhere.
Speaking in an interaction organided by Rafat Media Club here today, Bijukchhe added that if the constitution was amended upon the pressure, it would create uncertainty and would do harm to the country.
He added that his party backed the KP Oli-led government with some conditions, but the party would remain in opposition.
Bijukchhe was of the view that neighbouring China could provide sufficient fuel to Nepal, but Nepal did not submit a written proposal for the same.
