KATHMANDU: A biker and a pillion rider were injured in a bus-bike collision in Kalanki of Kathmandu on Saturday.

The injured have been identified as biker Hari Sharan Sapkota (49) and pillion rider Dinesh Thapa (40) of Matatirtha, Kathmandu.

The bus (Ba 1 Kha 9752) and the bike (Ba 73 Pa 7677) collided with each other at 12 noon, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalanki.

Both the injured have been taken to the Sahid Memorial Hospital in Kalanki for treatment.

Police said that they have impounded both the vehicles and arrested the bus driver for investigation.
