KATHMANDU: The government on Wednesday tabled a Bill on Amendment of some acts to make them compatible with the new constitution.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Agni Prasad Kharel tabled the bill in the Parliament seeking amendments to 96 laws to make them compatible with the new constitution.

Some of the proposed amendments can be enforced immediately, while others would be implemented only after construction of necessary infrastructures, according to the bill.
