Biodiversity training begins
Kathmandu: A two-day training on ‘Biodiversity Conservation and Wildlife Conservation’ began on Thursday, according to a press release.
It is being organised by the Wildlife Watch Group under Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists with support from Nepal Biodiversity Investigation Society, University of Washington.
The training includes instructions by experts on biodiversity, wildlife research followed by one-day exercise programme. Deputy director general of National Park and Wildlife Conservation Department, Narayan Prasad Poudel, inaugurated the training, which was attended by biology students from the Tribhuvan University, rangers and journalists. — HNS
