Body handed over to German Embassy
Kathmandu, February 21:
Nepal Police today handed over the body of German lady Sabine Grunklee to the German Embassy in Kathmandu after the police received a formal report from the forensic section of the TU Teaching Hospital that the body was of the German lady. The report also suggested that Grunklee was murdered. However, it failed to detail how she was murdered.
The forensic doctors reached the conclusion yesterday after they received some personal information of Grunklee from Germany.
“She might have been killed within some days of her disappearance,” DSP Pitambar Adhikari at the Valley Crime Investigation Department, said. The body has reportedly been sent to Germany today. “German Munich Police Team will begin investigations on the body after they conduct a DNA test,” Adhikari said.
