KATHMANDU: At a programme held on Sunday, it was announced that Swati, an NGO, is planning to publish a book Inspiring mothers and daughters based on a study that is to be conducted soon. Fifty women achievers will be selected for the study. Their lifestyle, values, principles and philosophies will be documented for use in the book. Renchin Yonjan said, "The main objective of the book is to acknowledge the positive role of women in shaping social beliefs and traditions." Chairperson of Swati, Sangita Niraula, said Swati serves as a forum for women to raise their voice against discrimination. — HNS
