British alumni anniv

Kathmandu: The Association of British Alumni in Nepal (ABAN) celebrated its seventh anniversary on Saturday. It was participated by Britain-trained professionals and experts, mostly comprising scholars under the British Council. Founder president Dr Narayan Bahadur Thapa said ABAN professionals should get more involved in Nepal’s development works. Director of British Council, Barbara Hewitt, said ABAN is working with the Council to enhance bilateral and international relations. ABAN is working to strengthen professional, and cultural relationship between its members and British professionals. — HNS
