KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died on the spot after being hit by a passenger bus at Basundhra, KMC-3 on Sunday.

Police identifed the deceased as 23-year-old Rabina Chaudhary of Sunsari district, currently residing at Dhumbahari in Kathmandu.

It has been learned that she was a 2nd year BBS student at the Dillibazaar-based Times International College.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the vehicle (Na 4 Kha 4262) and rounded its driver for further investigation.
