CA Court puts off verdict
Kathmandu, July 8:
The Constituent Assembly Court today rescheduled the verdict on a case against the Constituent Assembly election result of Mahottari-6.
A three-member bench of justices Anup Raj Sharma, Top Bahadur Magar and Ram Kumar Prasad Shaha rescheduled the date for the verdict for next Tuesday.
The bench also directed the Mahottari District Election Office to produce form No 7 and 8 filled up during the polls. Stating that Sarad Singh Bhandari of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum won the CA polls through irregular means, a case was filed in the court by Nepali Congress candidate Sitaram Bhandari, asking the court to annul the result.
