KATHMANDU: Democracy and Socialism, a book by Nepali Congress Constituent Assembly member Shobhakar Parajuli, was launched on Monday. The 242-page volume has thrown light on behavioural aspects of democracy and socialism.

Blending literature and politics, the writer draws a line between democratic culture and communist culture. "The book has expressed testimonies of democratic culture and behaviour in an interesting way. He has used aggressive terms against violation and autocracy," said senior journalist Purushottam Dahal, commenting on the book.
