The meeting also accepted the resignation of Nepal Electricity Authority Managing Director Mukesh Raj Kafle. Apparently owing to undue pressure from the Minister of Energy Janardan Sharma, Kafle had put in papers on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet also decided to publish the Building Code in the Nepal Gazette and implement it.
