19 held over illicit act

KATHMANDU: The police on Friday night arrested 19 persons, including five women, red-handed for indulging in 'immoral activities'. The arrests were made in course of separate raids in Uttam Guest House (Sundhara), Chhorten Guest House (Bouddha) and Basement Restaurant (Teku), police said.

KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday morning arrested Surendra Chaudhary (30), hailing from Dumrai- 6 of Sunsari district with fake Nepali currency from Chabahil. "We have recovered 14 bank notes with denomination of Rs 500," said SP Ganesh KC, in-charge, Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka. He is tried uner Fake Currency Act.
