LALITPUR: Police on Monday reported theft of Rs 500,000 (Indian currency) and  Rs 500,000 (Nepali currency) cash from the House no. 13 of Sunrise Housing based in Balkumari, Lalitpur.

According to police, an unidentified person broke into the house belonging to Doctor Gyanendra Man Singh Karki and made off with cash equivalent to Rs 1,300,000.

Meanwhile, local police are investigating into the case while the search is on for the culprits, informed police.
