Kathmandu, September 3:

Chief Election Commissioner Bhojraj Pokharel and other commissioners paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar.

On the occasion, CEC Pokharel briefed the PM on seminars conducted by the EC at various levels on CA polls and future strategy of the Commission.

He also briefed the PM on preparations made by the EC for holding by-elections for vacant seats of the Constituent Assembly and use of electronic voting machines for the by-polls.
