KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong called on Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter's residence in Budhanilakantha, on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed mutual interests of both the nations.

On the occasion, Deuba and Yu also shared their views about contemporary political issues of the nation, as stated in the press release issued by the Nepali Congress party office.
