Chinese delegate in Capital
KATHMANDU: A high-level 17-member political delegation of People’s Republic of China led by Zhang Godi, member of the politburo of the central committee, is arriving tomorrow for a three-day
Nepal visit.Godi is also the secretary of Tanjin Municipality committee of the communist party of China.
This is the first high-level visit from China since Madhav Kumar Nepal took the office. Sources at the Ministry of foreign affairs said Godi is schedule to meet President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, foreign Minister Sujata Koirala, UCPN-Maoist
chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali congress president Girija Prasad Koirala, and CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, among others. Arun Prasad Dhital, joint-secretary at the Ministry said bilateral issues and mutual concerns may surface during the meet.

Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Minister Yan Jiechi has invited his Nepali counterpart Sujata Koirala for a visit to China beginning September 8 Similarly, authorities are doing a homework on PM Nepal’s china visit but the date has yet to be finalised.
Meabwhile, Chinese ambassador to Nepal Qiu
Guohong today met Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and discussed on the issues related to Nepal-China bilateral relations.
