Chinese education expo
Kathmandu, March 26:
The fifth Chinese education exhibition will be organised here on Friday and Saturday. The exhibition aims to inform education institutions and prospective students about the Chinese education system and about the universities and courses on offer there.
Speaking at a press meet today, Harish Chandra Shah, president of the Arniko Society, said, “In recent times, the number of students going to China to pursue higher studies has increased immensely. We are organising this exhibition to disseminate information about the higher education system and its development in China.”
He added that the exhibition was held to make the hunt for better colleges and universities easier.
“Twenty-one best universities in China are taking part in the exhibition,” he said, adding, “The exhibition will provide information on subjects like medicine, engineering, language, culture, economics, science and technology.”
Shah informed that the China Scholarship Council, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and Arniko Society, Nepal would organise the exhibition.
