KATHMANDU: A team of the Narcotics Control Bureau caught two Chinese nationals while they were trying to register three sealed paper cartons containing 980 grams of hashish with Foreign Postal Customs Office at Sundhara to post them to their country. The detainees are Liu Jingyi (passport no 20693774) and Cal Iping (passport no 28368531). The drug was concealed in a consignment of henna.

Man found dead

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old man was found dead in Naikap on Wednesday. Police identified the deceased as Rupak Budhathoki, a local of Purano Naikap, Chandragiri Municipality-19. He was found dead on a street at Chundevi Kichini Bhanjyang of Chanragiri, according to police. Investigation is on, said police.

Property stolen

KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 566,000 was stolen from a house in Kirtipur on Wednesday. Police said the thieves broke into the house of Ramesh Man Shrestha and made off with Rs 20,000 and gold and silver ornaments, in Maitrinagar, Kirtipur Municipality-2. The culprits are at large.
