KATHMANDU, MAY 15
Vice Chair of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China, Xiao Jie, arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday night.
Vice Chair Xiao is leading the Chinese delegation to participate in the Sagarmatha Sambaad, a global dialogue forum on climate change and environmental issues, scheduled to take place in the capital from May 16 to 18.
Minister for Forest and Environment Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri welcomed Vice Chair Xiao upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
