KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 4
A Chinese tourist, 47-year-old Wao Gwang, was found dead at Thamel on Saturday evening.
According to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kumodh Dhungel, Gwang was discovered deceased in his room at Nepalaya Home Hostel.
Gwang had been staying at Nepalaya Home Hostel in Thamel since January 24. A police team reached the hostel after receiving information about the incident.
Dhungel further informed that the dead body was taken to TU Teaching Hospital for postmortem examination.
No evidence regarding the cause of Gwang's death was found at the site. Investigation into the incident is underway, police added.
