CIAA files case against two engineers

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday lodged a case against two engineers of the Western Irrigation Division on the charge of taking bribe from service-seekers. Ishwori Prasad Dhakal and Yogendra Mishra of the Western Irrigation Office No 7 at Semari of Nawalparasi district were arrested in flagrante delicto on July 5. They were arrested with Rs 56,000 bribe taken from service-seekers. The anti-graft body, in the case filed at the Special Court in Kathmandu, has sought maximum for them, according to the press statement issued by CIAA.
