Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has admitted that citizens' expectations and requirements in the delivery of healthcare services have remained unmet.

Speaking to the media following his inspection of Bharatpur Hospital today, the Health Minister stated, "Available health facilities are not sufficient." As the Minister pointed out, the management of human resources, the strengthening of physical infrastructure, and the proper management and utilization of equipment remain the main challenges in the health sector.

According to him, the government is making efforts to address people's health requirements. The Minister arrived here to attend the 68th-anniversary celebrations of Bharatpur Hospital.
