Computer courses getting popular

For most of the SLC examination-appeared students, joining computer classes has become like a fashion, if not utilisation of time, these days.
A large number of SLC students said they were doing computer courses. Institutes are tempting them with various offers. “Leisure time after SLC should be utilised properly, and they’re no other suitable bridge career than learning computers,” said Sumegha Pokharel, an SLC examinee. She said she was searching for a good institute to start computer classes.
“In colleges, we have to learn a lot through computers. If we don’t know even its basics, we will be mocked at,” said Tsewang Lama, who is studying graphic design.
Computer institutes have designed special courses to meet the needs of the SLC-appeared students. Abhilasha Jha of the Computer Point Nepal, Naxal, said her institute has designed special courses for the SLC students. Arena Multimedia, Kantipath, has offered 81 per cent discount in its courses for the SLC students. Ashmita Lama, proprietor of the Earth Vision International Education, Chabahil, said: “Flow of students increases only if we come up with better offers.”
