Concern over abduction

Kathmandu, April 3:
Human Rights activists have drawn their serious concern regarding the abduction of teachers, social workers and other civilians by the Maoist rebels from Aagichowm village of Dhading. "We request the Maoists for the immediate and safe release of all those abducted," said a press statement signed by human rights activists, Daman Nath Dhungana, Padma Ratna Tuladhar, Sindhu Nath Pyakurel and Shyam Shrestha.
Teachers Top Prasad Burlakoti, Tilak Bahadur Adhikari and Gyanu Burlakoti and social workers - Baburam Burlakoti, Ambika Ruwali, Laxman Sharma, Babukaji Adhikari and Mohan Bikram Shah. Meanwhile, their kin on Saturday issuing a press release have sought help from the human rights activists, media and civil society to release them.
