Nepali Congress has sent its recommendations for prospective candidates to contest the upcoming parliamentary and provincial elections from Rautahat district.

While there are eight seats for the provincial election in the district, four MPs' posts are up for grabs.

According to NC Rautahat district President Sunil Kumar Yadav, the names were sent on the basis of recommendations of the party's constituency and province committees.

While Krishna Prasad Yadav's name has been recommended for MP's ticket from Constituency-1, NC's now-suspended MP Mohammad Aaftab Alam and Anju Jha have been recommended from Constituency-2.

Three persons, namely Krishna Prasad Yadav, Sunil Kumar Yadav and Om Prakash have been recommended from Constituency-3 and from the next constituency, Dev Prasad Timalsina, Rabin Chandra Koirala, among others, have been recommended.

Similarly, for the provincial election, Krishna Prasad Yadav and Nagendra Sah have been recommended from Constituency-1 (4), while from the next provincial constituency under Constituency-1, Krishna Prasad Yadav has been recommended.

From other constituencies, name ranging from a single person to up to 12 persons have been recommended for each of the provincial seats.
