KATHMANDU:

Police at the Metropolitan Police Section, Thankot, on Monday seized illegally imported mobile sets and computer parts worth lakhs of rupees from Mahendranagar-Kathmandu route bus with plate number Na 2 Kha 5643.

Police said they seized the electronic goods from the boot of the bus. However, the police failed to arrest the person, who was transporting the goods. The police seized 179 mobile sets, 68 mobile batteries, 186 chargers and 79 computer parts. The police said the contraband has been sent to the Revenue Investigation Department, Pulchowk.
