KATHMANDU: A construction contractor has been beaten to death by a labourer in Danchhi of Kageshwori Manahara Municipality-5 of Kathmandu, on Friday.

Police identified the victim as Asha Kaji Dangol (58) of Makalbari, Gokarneshwor Municipality-15.

Dangol was severely beaten by his own staffer, Prem Bahadur Dhimal (22), and was rushed to the nearby Nepal Medical College in Attarkhel.

He had later succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, police have detained the suspect for further investigation
