President Ramchandra Paudel has described corruption and cumbersome administrative processes as major hurdles to development.

Inaugurating the Administrative Block of Myagde Rural Municipality in Naringe, Tanahu district today, he stressed the need to eradicate corruption and streamline administrative services to ensure ease and efficiency.

Paudel emphasized the urgency of accelerating development to address criticisms that despite political changes, the people's living conditions remain unchanged. He also underscored the necessity of strengthening the federal democratic republic.

Expressing confidence in the collaboration between people's representatives, government employees, and locals of Myagde, he highlighted the importance of collective efforts to realize the vision of prosperity and development in the region.

The President urged local units to remain committed to fulfilling people's aspirations, emphasizing their crucial role as the foundational structure of Nepal's republic, established according to the constitutional system.

He called on local representatives to be accountable to the public, emphasizing the importance of their responsiveness and commitment to public welfare.

Encouraging the general public to persevere and maintain hope, Paudel assured them that the country is steadily progressing towards development.

The head of the state also honored individuals who donated land plots for the construction of the Administrative Building, which was completed at a cost of Rs 60 million.
